Our Mission

We exist to make and mature disciples who treasure Jesus Christ above all by God's grace and for his glory.

Our Core Values

We believe these seven core values outline God’s revelation in Scripture concerning himself and his plan for us to glorify and enjoy him. Therefore, all of our worship gatherings, small groups, events, and everything else that we do are purposefully driven by these biblical principles.

  • The Glory of God
  • We delight in God and seek to display his incomparable glory to all of his creation.

God's glory is the radiance of all that he is in his nature and character as the highest and most beautiful good in existence. He has lovingly created all things to display his great glory and to share in the enjoyment of him.

  • The Supremacy of Christ
  • We treasure Jesus Christ, who is head over all things and infinitely worthy of our joyful worship and obedience.

The person and work of Jesus Christ are the primary means by which God has revealed his glory to his creation. God has established the purpose of all things in Christ so that he would be above all things and worthy of our full devotion.

  • The Gospel
  • We proclaim the gospel without shame for the hope and joy of everyone who will embrace Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord.

The gospel is the central message of the entire Bible. It is the message that the God of the Bible is the one true God, Creator of all things and fully deserving of our worship and obedience. Yet, no one has given God the honor and worship that he alone deserves. We have all preferred other things over God and chosen to give those things our attention, praise, and obedience. This sin separates us from God, blinds us to his all-satisfying goodness, and deserves his eternal wrath and punishment. But God, in love, sent Jesus to live the sinless life that we have not lived. Though Jesus did not sin, he went willingly to die on a cross where he absorbed God's wrath and punishment that we deserve for our sin. For all who receive this good news and trust in Jesus alone for salvation, God delivers them from sin through Christ, who took the penalty for their sin upon himself and credits them his own perfect righteousness. In Christ alone, we are freed from our sin and able to enjoy and worship our God forever. This same gospel continues to work in the lives of believers through the power of the Holy Spirit, transforming them more and more into the likeness of Christ by encouraging and enabling all aspects of the Christian life.

  • The Word of God
  • We study, teach, and apply the Scriptures faithfully for the transformation of God’s people by the power of the Holy Spirit.

In the pages of Scripture, God has revealed truth concerning himself, his creation, and his design for us to display and enjoy his glory through Christ. Our view of all things is governed and informed by the Bible, which has ultimate authority and sufficiency in all matters as the very word of God.

  • Worship
  • We present our lives, by the mercies of God, in passionate, continuous worship of Jesus.

Our study and mediations on God and the gospel as revealed in Scripture produce joyful expressions of the satisfaction that we find in God alone. As we worship God through Christ in our daily lives with our thoughts, attitudes, words, and actions we experience the joy of knowing him and are better prepared to worship together in our corporate gatherings.

  • Prayer
  • We confess in unceasing prayer our utter dependence on God to graciously supply all our needs according to his riches in glory in Jesus Christ.

God's power is made perfect in our weakness. Through prayer, we demonstrate our reliance upon God's providence as the Giver of all good things, who works all things together both for our good and for his glory.

  • Covenant Community
  • We reflect God’s grace and mercy toward us in our relationships with others as we deliberately disciple one another toward holy, God-honoring lives.

None of us are called to live out the Christian life on our own. God has designed Christian fellowship to display the reality of the gospel in our lives. As people who must still fight against sin on a daily basis, it is vital for us to covenant together to lovingly and consistently hold each other accountable and keep watch over our own lives in a community of believers who deeply care for one another.
